Telephone

If you wish to speak with the doctor you will need to schedule an appointment to speak with the doctor. If your phone call is urgent, we will put you through to a nurse for further triaging.

For emergencies please call 000 immediately. For non-urgent matters a message will be taken and forwarded.

Emails

We will not email any confidential documents or information unless you have requested this via email or you have accepted the risks involved verbally. The preference is to avoid using email communication as it is not secure. Password secured documents may be sent via software.

SMS

The practice may SMS you to confirm your appointments, advise you to book in a follow up appointment or as a reminder.

Telehealth

Both video and telephone appointments are available to patients who have been seen within the last 12 months.

EHealth

Patients can request for their health summary to be uploaded to their My Health Record at the time of their consultation.

eScripts

Now available securely via email.

Results

The reception staff and nursing team are not authorised or qualified to provide results over the phone. You are required to book an appointment either face to face or via telehealth to discuss results. Patients will receive an SMS if an appointment has been requested.

Reminders

Your doctor is committed to preventive healthcare. You will routinely receive recalls and reminders via SMS. Please advise, if you do not wish to receive reminders.

Feedback

Your feedback is valued and encouraged. A response will be given as soon as possible.

From time to time you may be asked to complete a confidential evaluation questionnaire as part of AGPAL accreditation.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of the care received please speak with someone at the practice.

We believe problems are best resolved directly between the parties, as this helps us to continuously improve. If however, the problem is not resolved, you may wish to contact the NSW State Government authority for dealing with medical complaints (details below).
